Programming with the MD is labelled as 'easy' by Egosoft and many Scripters. Despite that, it can be used for a broad variety of other tasks as well which makes the MD in some cases to the replacement for the SE.

The MD is comparable to the SE but focusses on missions. > Trading pt.1 -> Trading pt.2 then save your game, start a new game as a Bankrupt Assassin and read Ships -> Races, Factions.

#X3 reunion beginners guide full
Unfortunately, I cant help with the storyline mission, its been much too long since I've played the game. In spite of its portation to X3 Reunion (X3R) the full possibilities of the MD can only be used in TC. Intro -> Configuration and Optimization -> Start new game as a Humble Merchant -> The Start -> Upgrades. All 3 are stand-alone games, however there is an overarching plot which progresses from Reunion to Terran Conflict to Albion Prelude.Īpart from the storyline missions, its really up to you to decide how you want to play: Whether you want to be a mercenary and accept kill contracts or a trader and supply stations with goods across the universe or an industrialist who builds stations to supply the local markets or a pirate who plunders for a living or a mixture of them all.įrom memory, the game does change between Reunion and Terran Conflict/Albion Prelude in that in Reunion you need to visit stations and look at the BBS for missions, whereas in Terran Conflict onwards you can talk to stations remotely (Although I might be confusing Reunion with X2:The Threat- Cant remember)
